Rumour has it that the long-standing beef was birthed over what Shatta Wale described as monetary malfeasance prior to a musical concert organized by the giant telecommunication network company, Glo. It is rumored that Shatta Wale went into an agreement with Sarkodie to charge an undisclosed levy for their performances after the two were contacted by the organizers for the show only for Sarkodie to charge less than what has been agreed. This birthed a crevice between the two friends and since then, the two have been throwing jabs at each other at the slightest provocation. Over the past few years, the S-generals has been on each other’s throat throwing shades either on social media or in a song.

The chemistry between the artistes has been rekindled and Ghanaians can’t wait for what has been going on behind the scenes. The two stars publicly reunited on Sarkodie’s birthday after Andy Dosty of Hitz FM had a conference call with both artistes.
