Versatile Ghanaian actor, business man and politician John Dumelo who is vying for the position of Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon on the ticket of the main opposition party National Democratic Congress has fulfilled promise made to resident of West Legon of dredging their chocked gutter to prevent floods in the area.

Over the years, flooding has been one of the major problems facing the residents in the capital city of Ghana, a clear testament has to do with the June 3 floods which led to the death of many Ghanaians. The residents welcomed the news with hope and to make the people happy, the philanthropist fulfilled his promise earlier this week as he was seem with engineers and labourers on the site dredging the chocked gutter.

John Dumelo, for the years now, has been very instrumental in changing the lives of people and bringing endless smiles onto their faces. During the three-week long lockdown in Greater Accra and Ashanti region’s of Ghana, he donated hand sanitizers, buckets, toilet rolls and foodstuffs worth thousands of cedis to residents in poor communities as well as students of the prestigious University of Ghana.
