Multiple chart topping artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah known within the showbiz circles as Shatta Wale has added his voice to the cliche that one cannot survive as an artist in the music industry without a manager.

In an interview with Ghanaian versatile actress Nana Ama McBrown on United Showbiz on United Television (UTV), he emphasized that getting a manager is a great idea to tap into other fields of expertise but it does not guarantee that one would be successful as a artist. However, success is a mentality and for one to be successful, he or she needs to build his or her brand before people would take them serious and work with them.

The Melissa hitmaker Shatta Wale admonished female artists to understand the business in the music industry and not the glitz and glamour because it does not put food on the table.
