Kuami Eugene Wins Highlife Artiste of The Year | Kuami Eugene was awarded the Artiste of The Year for the 21st Edition of The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. That was not all, he also won awards in many other categories.
Brief History of The Artiste of The Year Category
Last year Ghana Music Awards Festival organized by Charterhouse was left with no “Artiste of The Year” as Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale clashed on stage. Until now the ‘Artiste of The Year’ was still the late Ebony Reigns title as she emerged as the winner for the 2018 edition of the award ceremony.
As I mentioned earlier, the category was left with no one to crown in the 20th Edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in 2019 due to the misunderstanding between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale which led to the abrupt end of the ceremony.

Kuami Eugene Wins Highlife Artiste of The Year
In this year’s edition, Kuami Eugene was nominated alongside Sarkodie, Medikal, Kofi Kinaata, and Diana Hamilton. At the end of the day, he was crowned the winner of the ultimate award and title, the “Artiste of The Year” under review.
The hard work of Lynx Entertainment’s signee “Kuami Eugene” made him stand out to win the ultimate award even though he was competing with the likes of “Diana Hamilton”, Sarkodie the boss of Sarkcess music, AMG Business beyond Kontrol rapper Medikal, and Fante Champion Kofi Kinaata.
