Ghana Armed Forces Extends Deadline For Online Application

The Ghana Armed Forces online recruitment deadline was set to 19th November, 2023. On their website they wrote “Closing date for submission of all online applications is Sun 19 Nov 23”.

Ghana Armed Forces New Deadline

New updates from the Ghana Armed Forces website indicates that the closing date for the submission of all online applications has been extended by 14 days or 2 weeks. The new deadline for the Ghana Armed Forces Online application is 3rd December 2023.

This new development means that you can still go ahead and buy the Ghana Armed Forces Voucher from any of the approved voucher sale points across the country and submit your application from 20th November, 2023 to the deadline dat 3rd December, 2023.

You are advised to keep your recruitment voucher even after successfully submission of your application as it will e inspected in every stage of the Ghana Armed Forces recruitment selection process.

General Eligibility Requirement

Eligible applicant’s should:

1. Be a Ghanaian citizen by birth.
2. Be of good character.
3. Not be married (Applicable to Regular Cadets Only).
4. Not be bonded.
5. Not be less than 18 years and not more than 26 years by 30 March 2024 (Applicable to Regular Cadets Only).
6. Be Not more than 30 years by 5 January 2024 (Short Service Applicants Only) or otherwise specified.
7. Be medically fit by Ghana Armed Forces standards.
8. Must pass the Pre-Joining Fitness Test.
9. Be of minimum height of 1 .68m (5’6″) for males and 1.60m (5’2″) for females. For Military Police only ; the minimum height for male applicants should be 1.75m (5’9″) and 1.70m (5’7″) for females.
10. Must have the following:
    • BECE. Six (6) Credits at BECE including English and Mathematics.
    • WASSCE. Six (6) Credits (not less than C6) including Core English, Core Mathematics and Core Science.
    • SSSCE. Six (6) Credits (not less than D) including Core English, Core Mathematics and Core Science.
    • GCE ‘O’ & ‘A’ Levels. Five (5) Credits (not less than 6) including English Language and Mathematics at GCE ‘O’ Level and not less than D in three subjects and General Paper at GCE ‘A’ Level.
    • Must have a minimum of First Degree not below Second Class Lower. (NB. Transcripts and Attestations will not be accepted).
