Stonebwoy’s real name is Etse Satekla, born in Ashaiman on the 5th of March 1988 in a family of 7 siblings. He is a reggae, Afropop, and dancehall artist and also the CEO of the Burniton Music group. He got his high school certificate at Methodist Day Secondary School; he graduated from the University of Professional Studies with a degree in Marketing in the year 2013.

He began his underground rap back in high school where he could compete. Through the support of his family, he joined Kasahare Level known as the best rap battle competition. This is where he met Samini, who later signed Stonebwoy to Samini Music Label as his original label. He has marked his terrain from the most known gifted artists with the two hit albums Grade #1 and Necessary Evil.
He released his first song which was played on the radio when he was still in high school, called Makuma meaning “My heart”. After this, he went on and released another song “Empress” before he cleared high school in 2007, which brought him to fame.
