The Canada GPA System

GPA, Credits, and Credit Hours in Canada
Whatever course you choose will have a specific number of hours allocated to it. And those hours are called the Semester Hours or Credit Hours. These Credit hours tell that a student has successfully completed their course. And are given by the person teaching you.
Note: In Canada, the credit and credit hours are used to calculate the student’s overall grade. It is known as GPA which specifies your average grade across courses through the academic semester.
