WAEC Releases the WASSCE Timetable for 2020
WAEC Releases WASSCE Timetable for 2020 | Earlier this year, the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) postponed the examinations that usually take off in May/June to test the memory of final year students both in Junior High Schools (JHS) and Senior High Schools (SHS) due to the covid19 pandemic. This led to the postponement of the WASSCE timetable for 2020.
After a long period of time close to 4 months since it was postponed, The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has finally released the timetable for the August 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

The timetable has been submitted to the Ministry of Education and examination is expected to begin on Monday, July 20, 2020, with Project Work for Visual Arts candidates, while the theory papers will start from August 3, 2020, until September 5, 2020, when the five-week-long examination will be brought to an end with Principles of Cost Accounting and Technical Drawing.
The new WASSCE Timetable for 2020 covers 60 subjects in all. These subjects are made up of 4 core and 56 electives. The subjects cover the seven programs offered at senior high school (SHS), namely, General Arts, General Science, Business, Agricultural Science, Visual Arts, Home Economics, and Technical.
The WASSCE Timetable 2020 PDF has not yet been released to the general public after the hard copies were sent out to the heads of the various Senior High Schools in West Africa after WAEC Releases WASSCE Timetable. We are working around the clock to get you a downloadable file.
Meanwhile, the dates for the Junior High School Certificate exams have also been released. The West Africa Examination Council has also released the BECE Timetable for 2020 and the exams are set to start on September 14.
