Shatta Wale Secures Another International Collaboration With American Rapper Meek Mill.
The year continues to be fruitful for the Ghana music industry. The year under review has seen multiple international collaborations and endorsements from outside the shores of Ghana.
Mid – last year, multiple award-winning Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale put Ghana on the mainstream entertainment industry after being featured on Beyonce’s Lion King: The Gift album, which was the official sound track of the remake of popular African animation Lion King. The Queen of Beyhives, Beyonce earlier announced the released of visual album and movie Black Is King which expected to premiere on 31st July, this year which is a visual representation of the Lion King album accompanied by the video of her collaboration with Shatta Wale.
The chemistry between Ghana’s Shatta Wale and Beyonce birthed the viral hit Already which was a blend of Afrobeats and dancehall. Already continues to make waves across the world after being the most streamed song on Tidal and unarguably, the best song on the Lion King: The Gift album. The video is expected to be released alongside the movie premiere on Disney and other influential channels across the African continent.
Social media has been buzzing after he ( Shatta Wale ) secured another international collaboration with another great American rapper and businessman, Meek Mill. The Philadelphia rapper shared the exclusive on his verified fan blog, Meek Mill News.
The collaboration is said to be on Shatta Wale’s yet to be released mixtape which is likely to be released any moment from now.
